WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
There are so many words people throw around when talking about “photography style”. Candid, documentary, photo journalistic, in the moment. This is how I see my “style”. My goal during your wedding day is to capture the excitement and emotions everyone is feeling. I want to take beautiful photos that document your day exactly how it happened, not by creating forced poses, but for the most part, photographing the beautiful moments that just happen on their own. I love catching sweet private moments in a way that you won’t even notice that I am around, so that when you look back on your photos you can feel those same emotions again. I guess the key is being observant to notice all the little things going on during the day, but also having a creative eye to document them in an artistic way.
WILL YOU WORK FROM A PHOTO SHOT LIST?
A list of “must have” photos is not necessary. In fact, I would actually discourage you from making one. My job is to tell the story of your wedding day. I would not want to miss documenting the special moments and interactions between you and your family and friends, simply because I am referring to a list of specific shots. This way I can be free to document your day with my own artistic eye having a candid, photo journalistic approach in mind. The only list that I request is one of your family combinations that you would like captured, in order to make that part of the day go more smoothly and quickly.
WHEN DO WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
For weddings it's typically around 4 - 6 weeks.
For engagements it's usually around 2 weeks. All of your images are delivered online in a private gallery and you'll be downloading the full resolution images!
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
As every wedding is unique when it comes to length of coverage and particular events taking place I do not promise any specific amount of photos from your wedding day. That said, typically an 7 hour weddings will receive around 500-800 photographs.
CAN WE SEE A FULL WEDDING DAY?
Totally! Just let me know by emailing me at contact@mpasko.com and I'd be happy to show you a full wedding day.
HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
With every package you will receive either a digital download of your photos via a direct link to a gallery or through a USB thumb drive. In both cases the photos are high resolution JPEGs without any logo or watermark and can be downloaded, printed or posted to social media as you wish.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
To reserve your date, I will email you a contract or we going meet eachother to sign contract and at that time I require a 30% non-refundable retainer fee of the collection price in order to retain my services. The final amount will be due 30 days before the event.
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING?
If you have already signed the contract and put down a 30% non-refundable retainer fee then in order to reschedule or cancel it the deposit is not refundable for any reason. This is because I have put a hold on your first date and have turned down multiple other requests for a wedding that day. That 30% non-refundable retainer fee allows me to recoup my losses for that day. A new deposit will have to be paid and a new contract will be made in order to put a hold on your new requested date.
CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP US?
I can definitely get rid of blemishes like acne or a bruise/scrape unless you don't care having those in the final delivered product. However, I do not photoshop anything else beyond that. I truly believe in showing realistic body standards and that includes you at whatever stage your body is at because I think everyone deserves to feel beautiful on their wedding day.
IS TRAVEL BETWEEN EVENTS INCLUDED IN THE COVERAGE TIME?
The amount of time that comes with your photography package will include time at locations as well as any time required to travel between them.
DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU AT THE RECEPTION?
In order to keep me operating at my best all the way to the end of your night, I do require a meal during the reception if you hire me for Full Wedding Day.
DO YOU GIVE RAW PHOTOS?
I truly believe the final edited photos that I give to you are hand selected and edited to be just right and should be viewed as works of art. RAWs are only part of the art process and the final touches are done in Lightroom.
WHAT TYPE OF CAMERAS DO YOU USE?
I use professional grade, full frame mirrorless Canon R6 and various professional CANON L series lenses, flashes. I always have backup equipment on every single wedding.
HOW DO YOU DRESS FOR WEDDINGS?
I will come to your wedding dressed professionally in clothes that will make me fit in with your guests and not draw attention to myself.
DO WE OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE PHOTOS?
Copyright is something that is often misunderstood. The important things to know are that you have complete rights to download, print, or post all of your photos but for non-commercial usage only. I have the right to advertise with them.
CAN FAMILY AND FRIENDS TAKE PICTURES?
For sure! I only ask that they do not get in the way during any of the important moments. If you are concerned that any of your friends or family might be likely to be in the way, you may want to consider having a conversation with them before your wedding day. This will hopefully ensure that you remain the focus as you walk down the aisle, for example, rather than Uncle Bob’s back.
